The decision to seek counseling may have been a difficult one— but by deciding to seek help, your journey towards healing does not have to be a lonely one!
Counseling can offer you hope, guidance, insight, and understanding of the path before you. While it may seem intimidating or confusing, whether this is your first-time pursuing therapy or you’ve seen other counselors, my hope is you feel safe and supported throughout the process.
There are several reasons to seek counseling, including anxiety, stress, conflict, relationship challenges, life changes/transitions, parenting, trauma, low self-confidence, recovery from addiction, and grief/loss. This is why I strive to meet my clients right where they are at, partnering with them to determine how to develop the tools needed for change and fostering a deeper understanding and connection. I believe everyone has the ability to rise above their circumstances to become the full and healthy individual they were created to be if given the safe space for growth and room for grace.
I utilize talk therapy, which is conversational in nature, but does include questions and insights to help promote introspection and identification of what may be happening internally when difficult emotions or topics arise. This therapeutic approach can help individuals and couples discover how to connect with themselves and develop the tools needed to provide grace for themselves and others as they heal.
